Editorial Standards
Last updated: July 2026
FanaticFocus is built on trust. These standards guide everything we publish.
01Accuracy First
We verify facts before publishing. We do not invent stats, quotes, injuries, rumors, or transactions. When we are wrong, we correct the record transparently.
02Sourcing
We rely on official league and team sources, injury reports, verified social accounts, press conferences, box scores, stat databases, transaction reports, and reputable beat writers. Rumors are clearly labeled as rumors with their origin identified.
03Separating Fact from Opinion
Analysis and opinion are clearly distinguished from reported facts. Readers should always know when they are reading a take versus a news account.
04Originality
Our articles are original works. We do not plagiarize or republish content from other publishers without permission and attribution.
05Imagery
We use original graphics, licensed imagery, public-domain images, and officially embeddable content where permitted. We do not use copyrighted league or team logos, player images, or other protected assets without legal rights.
06Headlines
Our headlines are clickable but never misleading. The article must deliver on what the headline promises. We reject dishonest clickbait.
07Sponsored Content
Sponsored or paid content is clearly labeled. Advertising and affiliate relationships do not dictate editorial coverage.
08Voice
We write with personality, passion, and authority — but never at the expense of accuracy or fairness.
